Mercury · Brand & Grow

A brand that makes you impossible to ignore

Strategy, identity and voice built as one system — so the website, the product and the pitch deck sound like the same company.

A logo is not a brand, and the difference shows up at the worst moment

Founders buy a mark when what they needed was a position. The result is a strong logo sitting inside weak positioning: the deck says one thing, the site says another, and the sales call improvises a third.

It stays survivable until you raise or launch. Then every touchpoint is compared side by side, by people whose job is to notice.

What we do

Brand strategy

Positioning, audience, value proposition and brand architecture. Signed off before a single design decision is made, because design that precedes strategy is decoration with an invoice attached.

Naming and verbal identity

Name, tagline, tone of voice and messaging pillars, with the checks that stop a name becoming a legal problem later. The result is that you sound consistent from the homepage to a cold email.

Visual identity

Logo system, colour, typography, iconography, imagery direction, motion and dark mode. Designed for the places the brand actually lives — screens, app icons, packaging, a slide behind a speaker.

Design system

Tokens and components that connect the brand to the product, so your engineers ship on-brand by default instead of by reminder. This is where most brand projects quietly fail, and where ours is built to hold.

Guidelines and activation

A brand book plus real applications: website, social, deck, packaging, environment. Rules that a new hire or an outside agency can follow without a phone call.

What you get

  • A signed brand strategy document — positioning, audience, proposition
  • Naming and verbal identity, including tone of voice and messaging pillars
  • A complete visual identity system with all logo variants and formats
  • A design system in Figma, with tokens ready for engineering
  • Brand guidelines covering usage, misuse and edge cases
  • Applied templates: deck, social, web, documents
  • Master files and full ownership of every asset

How the work runs

  1. 01

    Discover

Stakeholder interviews, audit of what exists, competitive landscape, and a working session with the founding team.

  2. 02

    Accelerate

Strategy first, then two distinct design directions — genuinely different, not one idea in three colourways.

  3. 03

    Refine

One direction chosen and pushed across real touchpoints until it holds up under pressure.

  4. 04

    Elevate

Guidelines, design system, handover and the governance that keeps it consistent after we leave.

What changes

  • Consistency — every touchpoint reads as one company
  • Speed — the team stops re-deciding the same visual questions
  • Credibility in fundraising and enterprise sales conversations
  • Recall — people remember which company you were
  • Recruiting, because good people can tell what you are building

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you work bilingually?

Yes. Verbal identity is developed in English and Ukrainian together, so the voice survives translation rather than being invented twice.

How long does a brand project take?

Typically six to twelve weeks depending on scope and how quickly decisions get made. The variable is almost always availability for the strategy phase, not design time.
