Privacy Policy

This policy describes exactly what happens to data when you visit primateria.pro. It is short because the site does very little with data.

Last updated:

The short version

This website sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising tags, no tracking pixels and no third-party scripts. Fonts are served from our own server, not from a font provider.

The only thing stored in your browser is your theme choice and the fact you dismissed the notice, and neither leaves your device. If you send us a brief, we of course receive what you wrote — that is covered below.

Who is responsible

Primateria operates this site. For any question about this policy or your data, write to contact@primateria.com.

Server logs

Like any web server, ours records a line for each request: your IP address, the time, the page requested, the response status, your browser's user-agent string and, where your browser sends one, the referring page.

These logs exist to keep the site running and to spot abuse — nothing else. They are not used to build a profile of you, are not combined with other sources, and are not shared for marketing.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Logs are held for a short operational period and then rotated out.

Where the site is hosted

The site runs on a server operated by Hetzner Online GmbH, located in Germany. Your request data is processed there, inside the EU/EEA.

What is stored in your browser

Two items, both in local storage, both strictly functional:

pm:theme — whether you chose the light or the dark theme, so the site does not flash the wrong one on your next visit. pm:notice — that you have dismissed the notice at the bottom of the screen, so it does not reappear on every page.

Local storage is not a cookie: it is never attached to requests and never reaches our server. Both items stay until you clear your browser data. Clearing them simply returns the site to following your system setting and shows the notice again.

The brief and callback form

If you send a brief or ask for a callback, we receive what you typed: your name, the contact you gave us, optionally your company, your message, and your answers to the multiple-choice questions. Nothing else is collected — the form does not read anything from your device.

It is used to reply to you and to discuss whether we should work together. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).

Submissions are stored on the same server that serves this site, in Germany, and are not sent to a third-party form service. Where we have connected a notification channel, a copy of the submission is relayed to us there so we see it promptly.

We keep enquiries for as long as the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete them. Ask us at contact@primateria.com and we will delete yours sooner.

If you contact us

If you email or call us, we process what you send in order to reply and, where it goes further, to discuss working together. We keep correspondence for as long as it is useful for that relationship, then delete it.

What we do not do

We do not run analytics or measure you across pages. We do not profile, score or segment visitors. We do not embed third-party content that could track you. We do not sell, rent or share personal data, and we do not transfer it outside the EU/EEA for our own purposes.

Links to other sites

Links out — for example to team profiles on LinkedIn — take you to services we do not control. Once you follow one, that site's own privacy terms apply. We receive nothing back from those visits.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to confirm what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to our processing, and to provide it in a portable form. Write to contact@primateria.com and we will answer within one month.

If you believe we have handled your data badly, you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page changes with it. We do not make changes retroactively.
